I started playing pickleball in 2014 and have been successful in local tournament play events. Due to my early experience, I started the pickleball program at my local tennis club in Scripps Ranch as it increased from 2 to 4 to 8 pickleball courts. From there, with the help of the tennis pro, we started with large groups (30 -40 players) for pickleball training sessions years ago until interrupted by the Covid pandemic. We were able to start training again in 2023 with our current expanded player base. For the last few years, I have continued with private training sessions at local recreation areas, parks and at résidences.

I primarily ride short boards, ranging from thrusters to twin fins, but I also have experience with longboarding and other alternative shapes. As an avid surfer, I hit the waves daily whenever conditions are good. Over the past 5 years, I've enjoyed teaching many friends how to surf and sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport.
