I am a graduate of Valparaiso University with degrees in music and theatre and I have been teaching piano, voice, and acting students for over 8 years. It is my personal philosophy that learning should be joyful and a ton of fun! I am a graduate of Second City’s Music Improv Conservatory, and I have taught young people and adults of all ages across Chicago and Los Angeles with Chicago Children’s Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, MA School of Acting, and in Chicago Public Schools. You may have seen me in the Romantic Comedy film Baking Up Love, in commercials for Smithfield, Pearson Textbooks, The Kentucky Lottery and more, as well as countless theatre productions and voiceovers. I can’t wait to tailor lessons to fit you and your goals, and to have so much fun singing together!

Hey everyone I’m Manuel but I go by Manny. I’ve been playing soccer since I was seven. My biggest achievement was winning the 2004 U-17 Scorpoin K.O. Joga Bonito Nike tournament along with two other teammates. I love soccer as much as I love coaching. This is why I want to continue teaching it and coaching those that wish to improve their game. My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.

With years of experience in the sport, I have achieved several state and national championships during my amateur career. Having participated in over 40 amateur fights, I have honed my skills and transitioned into becoming a professional boxer, currently boasting an impressive record of 7 professional fights.

I have been coaching for 3+ years to 6-18 year olds on fielding, throwing, and hitting. I have played my entire life and won the NAIA National Championship 2024. I received my Masters Degree during 2025 in Sport Performance and Psychology. Currently I am coaching both travel baseball, Junior Varsity High school baseball as well as hitting lessons.
