I'm Fred Alvin Pockrass, a tennis coach with two years of coaching experience. I offer personalized tennis lessons near Piedmont, focused on solid fundamentals, consistent strokes, and confidence on court. We'll begin by discussing your goals and work through focused practice at a pace that suits you. I am available Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with lessons arranged at a nearby court where private instruction is permitted.

By my late teens, I had achieved the 2nd spot in a national tournament and competed internationally, which deepened my passion for the sport. My journey took me to Spain for further training and then to the United States, where I played singles and doubles for a Division 1 tennis team for 4 years. Now, I find immense joy in coaching and watching my students grow both in their skills and their appreciation for the game.

He explained what my daughter is good at, what she needs to work on, and how she can improve in a clear concise manner. For every skill, he taught her “why” a certain move in a specific form is important in a game, which I think only an experienced coach like Coach Allen can do.
