Unlocking your golfing potential is my passion! I've been a dedicated golf coach for over 15 years, guiding students of all ages and abilities to improve their game. Golf can be played the Classical way involving all of the intricacies of technique and math or it can be taught at the Quantum level. I am prepared to use both.
"That lesson with Andrew was quite helpful, especially since my kid really enjoyed the encouragement and learning new techniques. Though, I think working on better angles could really give more improvement. The enthusiasm was good, it's nice to see the kids engaged. Maybe some focus there next time would make a real difference. If you're considering lessons, Andrew's approachable style is worth trying out.

I had the best professional teachers from childhood. Maradona, Pele, and Phillips. A couple more, I’ll tell you in person. Pepperdine University graduate. I coached a lot of younger professional players when I was young, anything to get their attention and they listened. Euro 2024 and a lot of countries players. If you want me to coach your team to win a league it’s not difficult for me. I don’t need to play to coach. I prefer to play and coach.

I have been playing basketball since the age of 10. My brother was on the high school team and I have trained with him growing up almost everyday. I played on my college intramural team and have taken lessons from professionals that played in college. I regularly play in basketball leagues that even have players over 6’8” tall. I am well versed in young children as I have taught young students English from three years up. (I have my own kids these ages) I am bilingual Mandarin and can explain concepts well in both languages. I am patient, kind, and enjoy seeing others achieve their goals. I look forward to teaching any students be well rounded individuals not just in sports, but in life.

Is my obligation as surf instructor to teach you the basics to go safe to the water, so be prepared to spend 25-30 minutes in the sand learning, only for your first lesson. With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist with three Division 1 tennis championships and a Southern California CIF semifinal appearance. I currently teach at Mulholland Hills Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy and have previously worked as a Special Education instructor, Registered Behavior Therapist, Adaptive Skills Clinician, Mobility Trainer, and Physical Therapist Aide. "First time learning how to play pickleball. I found Toms profile and felt like he would be a good coach for everyone due to his background and reviews. Im glad i found Tom! I suck at learning at the age of 42 and Tom has been patient with me throughout the lesson. 1 hour was pre challenging but kept me focused he gives you good advice and checks your mistakes and compliments what youre doing good. "Brian demonstrates a novel way of teaching by giving me the opportunity to identify my own mistakes based on the content that I learned from him on the spot. This exercise, along with the drills, helps me better understand the concepts that we learned today. If there is one improvement I have to state, it’s that the drop shot adjustments could be introduced better. Give them awareness that the balls can come at different height/different speeds first and then show them the techniques to handle such cases.
