Aloha friends! I’m Mikey and I’m just a dude that has been surfing for 30 years now. I started as a teen to be cool and win over the cute girls. I never got the cute girl but I did quickly became obsessed with surfing. Surfing is my life and I’m a surfer. I love to share the stoke of surfing! It’s the most exhilarating and rewarding sport. Actually, I would call surfing a lifestyle. I hope to meet y’all and teach you how to catch a bunch of waves and to appreciate the beauty of the ocean. Y’all will also learn to respect the power of ocean so I keep it safe and most importantly super fun! See ya out in the water and stay stoked!

With over 25 years of experience in the game, golf has been a lifelong passion that has taken me from junior competitions to D1 collegiate golf and beyond. I played for Oregon State University and did not miss a tournament. Additionally, I have competed at the U.S. Girls Junior Amateurs twice (‘08, ‘09) and the U.S. Women's Amateurs twice (‘12, ‘14). My PR is 64 back in high school. After college, I competed professionally on the Cactus Tour in Arizona, where I secured a tournament win at -11. While in Arizona, I also found joy in teaching, working with kids ages 6 to 12 at the TopGolf Summer Academy, helping them develop strong fundamentals and a love for the game. I also have experience going to Q-School and made it to Stage 2 my first year. Whether you're a beginner looking to build confidence and a strong foundation or an experienced player looking to lower your scores, I offer tailored lessons based on your goals. "Seshia has been working with my son on the range for six months now, and the difference in his swing is night and day. Driving range practice can easily get boring for kids, but her patience is off the charts. She has a great way of explaining driver and iron tweaks in plain English, so he actually gets what she’s asking him to do instead of overthinking every shot. His contact off the tee and off the mats is way more consistent now, and he leaves every session excited about golf. I have a passion for working with students and helping them learn. Witnessing my players' growth and development as individuals gives me a tremendous sense of accomplishment. When I can positively influence their skills, I feel fulfilled in my role as a coach. Additionally, I strive to foster a friendly and supportive relationship with my players, as I believe that being seen as a friend first, then a coach, is crucial for maximizing the learning potential and making lessons engaging and enjoyable for the students. In group lessons, I incorporate diverse group exercises to enhance the overall learning experience.

I spent much of my younger adult life playing golf professionally and attempting to qualify for the PGA tour. I was competing more then teaching but along the way, I learned from some of the best instructors in the country..Ive always loved dissecting the swing and helping others understand what creates improvement.
