"She has a really good way of balancing technique and creativity. We worked on exercises, but also applied them to songs I actually like, which made it easier to stay engaged. I feel like I understand my voice more instead of just guessing.

Fueling dreams on the field for 25 years, I empower soccer athletes to unlock their full potential. With decades of experience, I provide expert guidance to cultivate skills, strategy, and a deep love for the game. I have been involved in the “beautiful game” since I was in grade school, winning league championships from 4th through 8th grade. In high school, I was a member of the first Missouri State Championship team, and won a full scholarship to Southern Illinois University, which at that time was a national soccer powerhouse. In 1972 we were an undefeated NCAA National Champion. In that same year, I served as a member of the Olympic Practice Squad and traveled to Munich with the team. (The USA men’s team was eliminated in the group stage round.) Since then, I continued to play at the semi-professional level through my mid-thirties. Throughout the years, I have coached various youth teams and even conducted workshops for those new to coaching. My latest foray into team development was with the Esperaro Canyon Middle School girls’ team (Fall 2014), taking them to from a losing record tallied the year before to the finals championship game.

My name is Chris Humphreys, and I am 20 years old. Baseball has been a lifelong passion of mine, shaping who I am both on and off the field. Growing up, I had the opportunity to train at the USA Baseball Headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, where I competed in national trial games and came within one step of earning a spot on the U.S. National Team. Throughout high school, I was a highly regarded prospect, drawing interest from programs such as Grand Canyon University, New Mexico State University, the University of Arizona, and other top schools across the West Coast. I ultimately continued my baseball career at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. Although a torn labrum in my throwing shoulder impacted my playing career, it fueled my desire to stay involved in the game through coaching and player development. My passion now lies in helping young athletes grow—teaching not only the physical aspects of baseball but also the mental side that separates good players from great ones. I believe success in baseball comes from mastering both physical and mental repetitions. My goal as a coach is to guide players toward understanding that balance, developing their skills, confidence, and knowledge of the game to reach their full potential.

"The lesson I had with Ben was amazing! He was a very good instructor! I saw tremendous strides in my game just after my first lesson. I went from not being close to breaking 120 to hitting my first birdie and breaking a 100 after our lesson. It was such a great experience and made golfing a lot more fun!
