Hello. I am a current High School head coach for the last 8 years and a personal trainer for over a decade. I’ve also coached several club soccer teams. I work with Blazepods to get the most out of our training sessions. They are fun to use and get my athletes engaged. I have all necessary equipment and balls for all age groups. Transforming raw talent into confident players is my passion. With 40 years of experience, I've honed my coaching to not only build skills, but also foster a deep love for the beautiful game. "Our two boys were looking to raise their skill level and Coach Roger helped with that by making our sessions fun and challenging. Their training time was maximized with tons of touches on the ball. They were given homework and did it all which gave them goals to work toward during the summer. Our oldest son even made a club soccer team for the first time after training with Coach Roger. Before we began training with Roger our younger son had difficulty putting the ball in the net even though he had a lot of chances. Hi, I’m Rian Weston-Dodds, I’ve been playing for 6 years now coaching for about 3. I have a 5.0 DUPR rating and have coached at various locations across the valley including Picklemall, Life Time, the Picklr, and many public and private courts. PPR certified. I specialize in helping intermediate players improve with strategy and technique, but can also help beginner players get a handle on the game. I look forward to working with you on the court! At the moment, the Mountainside Fitness on Frank Lloyd Wright is the easiest way to get a an indoor court during the summer, free for members and only $10 for non members. It is on a basketball court but it works fine for practice. Otherwise, The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Private Event Venue by Talking Stick resort is also a good option for a rentable, authentic indoor court. But it does cost $40 for an hour. Outdoors, public parks are usually not busy midday. But the Oasis Community Church has outdoor courts for rent and they only ask for 10% of the lesson fee. If you have your own private, court let me know.

I have an associate degree in Golf Course Management and a Masters in Public Administration. I worked on cruise lines like the Caribbean, Carnival Cruises, etc, for 10 years as a Golf Professional. The cruises were in Europe, the Caribbean, the US, and Hawaii. I taught lessons on sea days, set up tee times in port, and played with passengers. After the cruise lines, I worked at golf courses, mainly teaching. I enjoy teaching beginners to advanced players. I will accommodate individuals if they are more comfortable learning in groups. I'm experienced in using the V1 system for video analysis of the swing.

"I did one driving range lesson and Taylor found some swing flaws I never knew I was doing. I'd have stretches of playing well, and then lose it. Now I'm more consistent. We also did an on course lesson and he helped a lot with strategy with is professional playing experience. Great stuff.
