So you want to join this pickleball craze? Of course you do! After decades of tennis, table tennis, badminton, and racquetball, I discovered this incredible sport of pickleball. I quickly fell in love and won my first gold medal in my first couple of months! I’ve been playing incessantly ever since. I soon began helping others learn how to play and earned my PCI coaching certification in November 2021. Looking to sharpen my teaching skills further, I gained my PPR certification in June 2023. My approach to coaching is simple- tangible results for students. I want to help you reach your potential as soon as possible. Lessons are focused on you and your needs. I love it when my students come back and tell me what they learned worked. So whether you’re a new player or trying to reach the next level, I’d love to help you do that as I have with lots of past students.

Jean is passionate about pickleball and loves coaching beginning and intermediate players. She has been playing pickleball for 8 years and coaching for 3 years. Jean is not a life long athlete, rather started playing racquetball in her 40’s when she lived in New Hampshire. When she and her husband, Dante, retired in 2018 they moved to Lillian, AL. Since racquetball was not as prevalent Jean started playing tennis in Gulf Shores, AL. She was introduced to pickleball at a local church gym and played both tennis and pickleball for a few years. Then she switched full time to pickleball. She has never regretted that decision and loves everything about the sport! Certifications include: RPO Level 1, IPTPA Level 1 and Children/Youth, Accredited Coach through the Pickleball System, USA Pickleball Ambassador, DUPR Club Facilitator in Lillian, AL Other interests: Biking, traveling, mahjong. Favorite coaching: Novice and beginner players, clinics, intermediate players with specific shots. Loves doing events such as ladder leagues, Queen and King of the Court. Favorite aspects of pickleball: Community! I am described as the “Connector” the one that everyone calls when they need help finding a partner, a place to play, info on levels, etc… Hope to see you on the courts! 😀

As a self-employed musician and commercial music composer, my passion for music has been a driving force since my high school years. Self-taught on the guitar, I honed my skills through dedication and determination, which led me to receive a partial scholarship as a vocal studies major at my local community college's esteemed music program. Immersed in music theory, guitar technique, performance, and voice, I've cultivated a versatile skill set that has fueled my decade-long journey traveling around the Southeastern United States, sharing my music with audiences far and wide. From crafting melodies to harmonizing, music is not just my profession—it's my way of life.
