Madeleine is the founder and guide behind Poise (poisedbym.com), bringing over a decade of experience in Yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices for clients of all ages and levels. Her work combines trauma-informed approaches, somatic awareness and nervous system regulation to support resilience, recovery and holistic well being. She integrates insights from buddhist psychology and neuroscience- informed Mindfulness to create safe, inclusive and transformative experiences.

I’ve taught multiple styles of Yoga and also Thai Massage at various studios in Los Angeles and at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara for over twenty years. I have advanced training in Yoga and Thai Massage and a degree in Social Work. My teaching focuses on Restorative yoga, stretching, relaxation and my training and experience in Thai bodywork.

Anael Davoodpour is a certified yoga teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification. She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Kids Yoga for all ages and experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Her classes combine mindful movement, breathwork, strength, flexibility, and relaxation, creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students can build balance, confidence, and a deeper connection with themselves.
