I’m a former division 1 college tennis player who is currently the head tennis coach for the boys team at Canby High School. I’ve been playing pickle ball for over 20 years and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and love for the game with students and players from a variety of backgrounds.

I work with students on their goals and areas of interest and improvement. I have special drills designed for volley improvement, serves, forehand and also backhand technique. Based on your dominant eye, I teach how to improve your forehand and backhand stance that tends to make a lot of difference in your stroke consistency. With my passion for tennis 🎾, I not only coach but also string tennis rackets customized to players’ needs, preferences and interests. The lesson was quite steady, I’d say, especially since we managed a good rally, which was pretty satisfying. Though, I think more focus on rallies and the rules could help build overall game confidence. Still, Luke has a calm way about him, which makes it easier to stay engaged.
