Reviews for coaches at Althea Gibson Tennis Courts at Branch Brook Park

5.0(309 coach reviews)

Edward's lesson really stood out because of his patience and attention to detail, which I appreciated quite a bit. He consistently gives feedback after each movement, though I still hope I can rally more consistently in future lessons. Still, the focus on specific techniques helped me understand my game better, and I’d be interested in seeing how my skills develop with more practice.

As a complete beginner who’s never held a tennis racket until my mid-30s, Edward has been wonderful! I loved learning each form while also practicing how to play in the court with Edward. His lessons have been engaging and easy to follow along. It really motivates me to practice more! Highly recommend Edward if you are looking to begin your tennis journey like myself 💪🎾

The lesson with Edward was exceptional, especially his clear and patient approach which made me feel encouraged. Though I think I need to work on mechanics and staying more relaxed. I’d highly recommend trying him if you’re aiming to sharpen your tennis skills and enjoy a supportive vibe.

I'm quite satisfied with how Edward conducts his tennis lesson. He was patient and thorough throughout. Though, I think working on mechanics could really enhance the overall experience. His approach definitely stood out and made the time worthwhile, so I might try to work on that with him.

We were able to go deep into the basics and Edward took the time and steps to understand where I lack and helped me focus on that with a lot of patience
