About Eshan

Passionate tennis player with a decade+ of experience. I've excelled at various levels, from high school varsity (2012 HS State team qualifier) to college club teams (Ohio State University and Ohio University tennis club alumnus). Previously, I was a full-time tennis professional and Director of Tennis and Pickleball @ Wedgewood Golf and Country Club in Columbus, OH training players of all ages. I also was the Assistant Tennis Coach of the Girl’s Varsity Team for Westerville South High School (Westerville, OH) from August 2024 - August 2026. From Oct 2025 - July 2026, I was a part-time tennis professional @ Wickertree Tennis Club in Columbus, OH and coached the 3.5 Career Ladies’ USTA Team. Additionally, I have a strong background playing USTA Tournaments (22-6 all time in USTA doubles according to ITF World Tennis Number). Most recently I achieved the following: 2026 USTA League Midwest Ohio Valley Adult 18+ District Champion 2026 USTA League Midwest Ohio Adult 18+ State Runner Up I have a Bachelors degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology, a Masters degree in Biomedical Science, 2 years of medical school, a Certification in the Practice of Data Analytics, and I am currently studying for my next Masters in Bioinformatics at Northeastern University. If you are someone who has a STEM background, I excel at communicating tennis techniques and concepts in terms that STEM professionals can relate to and understand because I have a comprehensive knowledge of the biophysics, muscles, and fine motor feelings that one needs to be aware of when executing mechanics. Let's take your tennis game to the next level! *While I used to teach all ages previously, at this time, I am currently only taking students who have surpassed 6th grade* **Now in the Boston area**

The lesson I had with Eshan was quite helpful and made me feel more at ease with my strokes, especially when practicing forehands and backhands. Though there wasn’t a standout highlight, I’d say the lesson’s steady progress kept me interested. Still, I’d love to see more focus on footwork techniques next time. If you're looking to build confidence on the court, you might find Eshan's approach pretty straightforward and useful.

Eshan’s lesson was quite thorough, and I appreciated the way he explained some aspects I hadn't really considered before. Though it wasn’t suddenly transformative, I did find it pretty helpful overall, especially with the specific techniques he showed. Still, I think I’ll keep practicing what we covered and see where it leads. If you're looking for a measured, productive tennis lesson, it’s worth trying Eshan.

Eshan's lesson was quite helpful, especially noticing how my backhand and forehand improved after a couple of drills we focused on. Still, I think with a little more refinement, I could see even better results if I keep practicing those techniques. Though it's been a positive experience overall, I might try one more session to fully get comfortable with the adjustments.
