“Actually, I find that James's lesson was quite helpful, especially because he was very patient with my son and encouraged him to improve. Though, I do hope we can continue from where we left off to keep building on the progress. Well, I think it’s worth giving James a shot if you're interested in steady, encouraging instruction that feels quite natural.”Srinivas A., parent

Reviews for coaches at Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa

5.0(98 coach reviews)

The lesson with James was quite a positive experience, mainly because he’s a nice coach who made the whole session comfortable. The lesson highlight, honestly, was his approachable style, and I’d say his attitude really stood out. Though, I do think focusing a bit more on service mechanics could elevate the experience further. Still, I’m optimistic about what future lessons might bring, especially with some refined feedback. If you're after a coach who’s steady and easy to work with, James is worth considering.

Oh, I suppose I'd say James's lesson was quite helpful. I learned a new thing about serving, which is pretty good because I tend to overlook that part. His way of pointing out details made me think about my technique differently, but honestly, I still feel there's room for more focus on the finer points of serving for better consistency. Still, I think trying James could be worth it if you're looking to sharpen specific skills with a down-to-earth approach.

I’d say my lesson with James was pretty helpful actually. His focus on specific footwork really made me think differently about positioning on the court, though I realize there’s still room to tighten up my swing mechanics. Still, I appreciate the steady, measured approach, and it’s encouraging to see gradual progress. If you're after consistent improvement, I’d consider giving James a try.

I think the lesson with James was quite effective. He focused well on service techniques, which I found quite helpful. Though, honestly, a bit more variety in drills would have made it even more engaging, but still, it's a solid foundation to build on. If you’re looking for someone steady and attentive, you might want to give James a try.

James really takes the time to adapt his training approach based on what each student needs, and his detailed, patient lessons make a difference. Though I think his method could stay as it is, I’d still like to see even more variation in drills. Still, I’d say trying James out is worth it if you’re after thoughtful coaching.
