About Wilson

Hello Everyone! My name is Coach Wilson I’m currently still in college. I have been playing tennis for the past 6 years and coaching for the last 3 years. Although it may not seem like a lot it only takes at least 2 years of great focus and motivation to be a better player. I myself started around a year before highschool and ended up playing singles 1 for varsity all 4 years. And moving onto college I played 5 singles my first year, had a great run. Second year comes and for the past 6 months I officially started coaching myself. I am a very technical coach developing first your form, footwork, and strategies towards the game. I offer all kinds of lessons whether it’s footwork drills, feeds, or one on one rallies. I am extremely confident in my coaching skills whereas I am able to coach all ages between 5-70 yrs old, as well as coaching beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I currently have around 12 students all around the ages of 5-70. Lastly my hours are flexible depending on the week I have a specific court I coach at in San Dimas but I can travel to you if really needed!

What students say...

"Coach Wilson is great at constructing the form and technique for the fore hand and backhand hand that Ive been struggling with my past coaches. He has great foot work drills as well as serve technique and volleys He is very confident in the way he teaches And it had helped become a better player!

"Martin's patience really stood out to me, and I appreciated the helpful feedback on my serve. We started with some good warm up and then went over flat and kick serves which I’ve been struggling. The feedback he gave immediately improved my feel of the flat serve. He’s a chill dude and fun to work with. I'd suggest giving Martin a shot if you're looking to improve your tennis skills gently and thoughtfully.

Never played a sport before. At my 27 years of age I decided I wanted to try something new and pick up tennis. I warned coach Clemente I was going in for my first lesson out of interest with completely no knowledge of the sport or any background of tennis. They promptly contacted me after booking my first session and confirmed our first class. I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable once in the court. I left with so much knowledge and skill from the first lesson alone. Clemente is very kind, attentive and patient. We finished our lesson and I knew I had to come back for more!

The lesson with Clemente was quite helpful, especially appreciating how patient and clear he was in explaining things to my daughter, which made her engage without feeling overwhelmed. Still, I hope future lessons can incorporate more playful elements to nurture her athleticism and positive social feelings during tennis. If you’re considering it, Clemente’s an instructor who understands young players well and creates a welcoming environment.

You know, Clemente’s lesson really stood out because he's not just a talented tennis player but also knows how to teach effectively. That lesson had a clear focus on practical techniques, which I appreciated quite a bit, and I think there's more room to improve with a bit more practice. Still, the professional approach definitely made a difference and I think it’s worth trying Clemente if you’re serious about sharpening your game.

The lesson with Clemente was quite helpful, especially since he pointed out key moments to focus on which really clarified some of my technique issues. Still, I think I could use a bit more attention to consistency, but I appreciate his calm and measured approach, which makes practicing more comfortable. I’d be interested in trying again soon to build on what we covered.

I think Clemente's lesson really helped me focus on my serve, which was quite helpful, though I still need to work on consistency. The lesson had some solid points, and I appreciate the calm approach. Still, I hope future lessons can include more specific drills to better address my weaknesses. If you're into tennis, maybe consider trying Clemente's coaching.

The lesson with Clemente was quite positive. I appreciated how he encouraged us and explained techniques clearly, making it easier to understand. Though I hope to learn more actively and with even more enjoyment, I feel like I’m heading in the right direction. If you’re interested in a thoughtful approach to tennis, it might be worth giving his lessons a try.

So far, my lessons with Clemente have been quite helpful, especially since he pointed out some subtle adjustments I could make to improve my focus during rallies, which is pretty helpful. Still, I think I will need a bit more practice to really feel confident on court. If you're looking for someone with a thoughtful approach, I’d say give Clemente a try.

I think Clemente's lesson was quite helpful, especially since I got to focus on my groundstroke and serve motion, which have been a bit inconsistent for me. Though I still have some work to do, I appreciated the clear guidance and practical tips he offered, and I'm definitely hoping to build on this progress in the next lesson.

One highlight of the lesson with Clemente was being coached on opportunities during play. The session felt focused and helpful without any need for changes. If you want practical tips and a clear approach to improving your game, this lesson is definitely worth trying out. A solid experience overall. 🎾

The lesson was quite helpful, especially in working on my backhand technique, though I think I still need to focus more on footwork. Clemente's approach feels balanced and low-pressure, which makes it easier to stay engaged. Still, I'm hopeful for more progress in upcoming lessons.
