Bio: Daniel Joelson – Tennis Coach & Former Professional Player Daniel Joelson is a former professional tennis player and experienced coach with a background in elite junior tennis, professional competition, and Division I college tennis. He competed in the Orange Bowl, became a UK County Champion, and trained and lived at the prestigious Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida, where he trained alongside future stars Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. Daniel also competed on the professional satellite circuit and previously held a world tennis ranking. As the founder and head coach of Tennis Lessons Los Angeles, Daniel coaches more than 60 hours per week, working with players of all ages and abilities, from beginners and recreational adults to elite juniors, aspiring professionals, and Division I college athletes. His coaching experience includes training Cassius Chinlund, a UCLA men’s tennis player, along with other high-level junior and collegiate players. Daniel specializes in technical development, footwork, consistency, tactical awareness, shot selection, point construction, and mental toughness. His coaching philosophy combines professional playing experience with individualized instruction to help every player maximize their potential, build confidence, and perform at their best.
