My ultimate goal as a coach is to empower my students to reach their full potential on the court while fostering a love and appreciation for the sport. I believe that anything is possible on the tennis court through dedicated practice, strategic coaching, and a positive mindset. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you achieve your tennis goals.

I recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a master's degree in Climate Change and Sustainability, having balanced my academic pursuits with a dynamic tennis career. As a former NCAA college athlete in the US, I achieved recognition as part of the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference Singles and Doubles Second Team during my rookie year. My tennis journey extends beyond collegiate play—I've competed in ITF tour-level tournaments and secured multiple junior titles in Venezuela. Alongside my tennis achievements, I've contributed to tennis coaching programs at esteemed clubs like Brookline Tennis Academy, Don Mills Tennis Club, and Davisville Tennis Club, honing my skills as a mentor and instructor.
"The lesson provided a solid overview of preparation, forehand, and movement, with plenty of practice that helped reinforce the basics, though I still need to focus on building muscle memory and grip strength to really improve.

I have 5 years of experience teaching tennis to various age groups, from juniors to seniors, at both beginner and advanced levels. My training focuses on footwork, tactics, stroke development, and fun gameplay to keep students happy while improving their skills. I achieve this through feeding drills, rallying, and playing matches.
"Coach Mike’s lessons has trained my tennis game by consistent feeding and by focusing on one fundamental at a time such that my FH and BH strokes become muscle memory. Throughout the lessons, I have made astonishing improvements in developing power and accuracy in my shots.
