I played soccer recreationally in weekend leagues for 10 years, coached my son for six and rose to advanced AYSO coach and a member of the AYSO Evanston board before stepping way from the game. I have since returned, passing the IHSA coaching course in 2025 and working with Super Soccer Stars as a coach and assistant coach, teaching children ages 5-12.

Peterson Park Athletic Field offers two outdoor soccer fields in a 23-acre wooded park, ideal for youth soccer players with nearby field house, playground, and walking paths in Chicago's North Park neighborhood.
- Parking: Parking available on Central Park Ave and in Peterson Park parking lot accessible via North Park Village entrance on Pulaski Rd. No cars allowed inside the park or on narrow paths to fields.
