Colin Clary profile
About Colin

With nearly two decades of experience on the tennis court and seven years of mastering the nuances of pickleball, I've seamlessly transitioned my skills to excel in both sports. Now in my second year of coaching, I'm leveraging my expertise to nurture budding talents and share the strategies that have shaped my own success. From baseline rallies to pickleball volleys, my dedication to the court knows no bounds as I continue to evolve as a player and mentor.

What students say...

"Colin was very knowledgeable, organized and insightful. I’m basically somewhere between a 2.5 and a 3.0, So I really appreciate his patience and his ability to listen and lead the lesson.

Oh, so far I’d say Colin’s lesson was quite helpful, especially in learning how to position myself better and handle those tricky top spins. Though I still need to work on turning them more effectively, I feel like I got a decent grasp of the concepts. It’s not perfect yet, but I’m hopeful I can improve with more practice. Still, if you want to refine specific techniques like dealing with spins, Colin’s approach is definitely worth a shot.

That lesson was pretty detailed, really good at breaking down certain aspects of pickleball. Though, I guess I could work on my accuracy when playing dynamically, but I’m optimistic about applying what I learned. Colin’s approach definitely helped me see different angles, and I think I’ll build on that for sure. If you're looking to sharpen your skills with a calm, focused coach, maybe give Colin a try.

Oh, sure, Colin's lesson on learning accuracy was quite helpful, and I think the focus on precision will definitely benefit my game. Though, I’d appreciate more specific drills to improve that aspect further, still, I feel more confident now and might try another lesson soon.
