Reviews for coaches at Grass Valley Park (Tennis Court)

5.0(118 coach reviews)

Amit’s lesson was quite helpful, especially the focus on strategies like the third shot drop and fifth shot drive, which he made sure we practiced thoroughly. Still, I’d say more of the same would be a good way to build confidence during a game. He definitely takes his time explaining things clearly, I think that’s a real strength. If I could suggest anything, it’s just to keep emphasizing practice opportunities so I can better integrate these strategies into my play. Overall, I’d say it’s worth trying Amit if you’re looking to sharpen your game a bit.

We just had our first Pickleball lesson and it was fantastic. The coach has a great teaching style—he makes sure you do the 'small things' right while keeping the energy high. My husband is very fit and usually finds it hard to find activities we can do together where I can keep up, but the coach did a great job showing him that Pickleball has real depth and challenge. If you are looking for a coach who is engaging and knows how to bridge the gap between different skill levels, he is the one to go to

The lesson was quite good overall, especially since working on hitting the ball at its peak proved pretty helpful. Though the wind made things challenging, it actually gave us a chance to improve in different conditions, which was valuable. I still think a bit more focus on consistent practice could really help translate these skills into regular play, but Amit’s approach is definitely worth trying if you're serious about refining your game.

The lesson was quite good, and I appreciated how it helped me continue working on patience, which I think is important in pickleball. Though I still need to stay consistent, I'm hopeful that with more practice, my game will improve even further. Still, I felt like the lesson provided practical tips that I can carry into open play. If you're considering a lesson with Amit, it's worth trying to build on what you already know.

The lesson with Amit was quite good. I appreciated how he broke down some key techniques, which helped me understand my weaknesses better. Though I still need to work on my footwork, I left feeling more confident about how to improve. Still, I’m hopeful that with continued practice, I'll get closer to where I want to be. If you're looking to sharpen specific skills, Amit’s approach is worth trying out.

The lesson with Amit was quite helpful, especially in focusing on drops and skills that I hadn’t fully mastered before. Though I still want to see more variety in drops, I appreciated the clear guidance. I look forward to building on this foundation and hoping future lessons can expand into more advanced techniques. If you’re into pickleball and want some practical tips, Amit’s worth trying out.
