“Cai offered to play music during this lesson, which added a fun element to an already fun time! He has been great about keeping things just on the edge of my ability level so I'm always challenged but not overwhelmed, and gently encourages me to notice & work on where I can take on harder shots. I'm really enjoying my lessons & the game overall. Thanks Cai!”Gretchen L., studentAbout CaiI’ve been playing pickleball for 3 years and have spent the past 2 years with VCU’s pickleball club, serving as a captain both years. I’ve led practice drills and worked individually with teammates on form, technique, positioning, and identifying areas they can improve.
I especially enjoy breaking down technique in a way that’s easy to understand and adapting how I teach based on the player. Whether you’re completely new to pickleball or an intermediate player looking to clean up your game, my goal is to help you understand not just what to change, but why it works.

We loved our first lesson with Cai! Cai is very friendly & skilled--made learning a new sport approachable and fun :-) He provided us with specific (yet kind) feedback on a variety of moves, as well as ideas for practice sessions. Thanks Cai!
Cai is a great teacher! I came into the game without having ever picked up a paddle. He started with simple drills, taught me the rules, and worked up to finishing off with a full game. Highly recommend!
