The lesson with Derek was quite helpful, especially in terms of understanding the importance of controlling the ball's direction. I’d like to get better at aiming during singles play, and having more control over where the ball goes would be useful. Though I still need to refine that aspect, I’m optimistic about building on what I learned and hope future lessons can focus more on directional techniques. Still, I’d suggest others give Derek a try if they want to improve specific skills like this.

I’m so thrilled to play games now. Love pickleball even more after training with Derek. He’s quite great in making the sport feel more accessible and easier to beginners or even more experienced players. I look fwd in the future do a group lesson could be beneficial to pick up game strategies. Derek has been wonderful from day 1 and I highly recommend him to any level player. He is very detailed, takes his time and knows where we need to adjust or improve. Thank you so much Derek!

Aaron went thru a complete drill to know my level of play and coached on important areas I needed improvement like backhand, kitchen play and volleying.
