“Minh is a phenomenal teacher. He does a great job of teaching from the ground up, ensuring that the fundamentals are sound. He takes into account your skill level when building the lesson plan, and on top of all of that, he’s a pretty fun guy.”Emerson H., student
About MinhI remember first hearing about the game from a family friend a few years back. I then saw some matches and thought this is an easy game made for senior citizens. I learned real fast how foolish I was. I went to a local park to try it out for the first time and took to it quickly. Gaining false confidence from this I was asked by some regulars to join them. Thinking to myself that it would not be hard to defeat some senior citizens and move on to some more competitive play with people closer in age and abilities. Let me tell you when I say these regulars showed me no mercy. They were hitting shots by me and blocking my hard drives right back. I was flabbergasted. I could not believe that I could barely muster a point against them. It didn’t matter who I played. Men, Women, Young, & Old, all had a turn in taking advantage of me. With my pride bruised & battered and thoroughly humbled by my beating, I vowed from that day on to NEVER be beaten by another grandma again lol 😂 . In all seriousness I fell in love with the game and have been addicted ever since. I’ve dedicated myself to getting better and showing others the joy that is Pickleball. It brings me great pleasure in helping others get better and achieving their goals. The hours spent helping friends and family and practicing is equally as enjoyable as playing it myself. The biggest treasure is teaching my eldest of 3 boys the game and playing with him. Hopefully I will be able to share the love and passion for the game with others. “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”, is what they say, right!Go to profileFree public pickleball facility with 4 dedicated outdoor hard courts and permanent lines. Fantastic First Pickleball Lesson with Minh! I recently had my first pickleball lesson with Minh, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. As a complete beginner, I was grateful for Minh's patient and clear instructions, which quickly had me playing the game with confidence. Not only was Minh a great instructor, but he also went above and beyond by bringing us water and tangerines during our lesson, which was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband also took a lesson with Minh, and we both can't wait to go back for our next session. Minh's expertise and hospitality made our pickleball lesson truly memorable, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their game.
The lesson with Minh was quite straightforward and focused, building drills around game positions that really helped me piece things together, especially as a beginner. Though I still need to work on some basic skills, I’m optimistic about building more on those drills and getting some actual gameplay experience. Still, I could see how consistently practicing these foundational points will help me get better. If you're looking for a coach to help with structured learning, Minh's a good option to consider.
Honestly, I appreciated how Minh focused on my weaknesses during the lesson, and I guess that’s pretty helpful. Though, I’d say more of the same would be great to really solidify those improvements. I noticed some specific techniques in my gameplay that felt sharper afterward, so I think sticking with this approach could pay off. If you're looking to fine-tune your skills without too much fuss, Minh's lessons might be worth a try.
