Beyond the playful name, pickleball is a game of strategy, agility, and finesse – all things I love to teach! With 5 years of experience playing at a competitive level, I bring a deep understanding of the game and a passion for sharing it. Let's work together to elevate your pickleball game and unlock your full potential on the court.
"Richard's first lesson was quite thorough, and I appreciated how he balanced covering all the rules with actually playing the ball around, which kept things engaging. Though, I think with a bit more movement and smoother hits, it could become even more effective. Still, it was a good experience and I’d consider trying Richard again for his knowledge and enthusiasm.

I run six pickleball sessions a week for my local church to raise money, combining my love for the game with a commitment to community service. My journey with paddle sports began as a kid, but it was in 2015, introduced to pickleball by my dad, that I truly found my passion. I fell in love with the game not only for its excitement but also for the positive social aspects it brings. Pickleball has a unique way of building connections and fostering a supportive community, and I strive to share that experience with others. Whether you're a newcomer or looking to improve your skills, I'm here to help you enjoy the game and be part of the amazing pickleball community.
"Had a great time learning from Matthew! He was super patient and even let me practice with the ball machine. He is super nice and kept the lesson fun. He also runs open play sessions with his church which I went to and was great to practice the things I learned.

I play and drill at least 3 times a week and I am really enjoying the sport. I have been able to parallel all of my tennis playing and coaching experience to pickleball and as a coach, I incorporate the proper progressions and drills as well as point play to help you with your game. I believe in positive reinforcement and keeping things educational, yet fun. I can help with your technical skills and tactics. I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
"Anthony is an excellent teacher. Really enjoyed the lesson!

4.0 level player. Love pickleball and love teaching! Former tennis player (still play here and there). Never thought I would love anything more than tennis, but here we are! Would be my pleasure to teach you how to play pickleball and answer any questions you might have!
"I continue to learn new things. This past lesson was a mix of drills to help me manage and return balls coming to my center, right and left. I like when Suzanne has me re- doing something until I get the hang of. She is patient, doesn’t move on just because we spent x amount of time on. She will say “nope, let’s do it again”. I encourage that.
