About John

Hello! As the Tournament Director and President of The World Pickleball Association LLC, I bring a wealth of experience to the court. With multiple pro certifications, including being a certified pickleball coach with both PPR and IPTPA, I have been teaching and refining players' skills for years. Beyond coaching, I also run and compete in tournaments, winning the WPA World Championships Open Men's Doubles in 2023 and the Los Angeles Open Mens Doubles 2024. All this experience gives me a complete understanding of the game . I also play the APP and PPA Champions Tour. I just finished a series of 10 lessons with John. My overall game has improved a lot. John corrected many aspects of my game and focused on strategy and shot selection. He also videoed me playing so I could review what I had learned. He also played with me against other players and corrected my game “live” while playing. He’s a great coach for all levels. If you are starting Pickleball consider lessons before you start to ensure you are learning proper techniques and strategies. John is a gem!
