From preparing me for the lesson by text, to his greetin in person, to explaining his teaching philosophy, to answering my questions, to explaining the game and the different shots, to giving me ways to integrate new knowledge, to finishing up and giving me homework, I was super pleased. He listened and took into account my experience with tennis and table tennis. The time flew by and I just felt at ease, but I learned a lot. I was just in the moment enjoying myself. Oh and he costs half as much as many other instructors. They don't keep it all, but I don't feel it is necessary to pay $150 a lesson. I played tennis and took lessons - it was 20 years ago but you remember your impression of people. I'm sure there are other good personable teachers but he is first rate and happens to be close to me. His apartment complex has a private court, so it was reserved. He enjoys teaching and, for me, it was a great fit. Oh and he can come to you, and there was no pressure to schedule the next lesson in 6 days or whatever. I will schedule another as soon as I come back into town because I'm looking forward to it. And he told me good places to play that fit my needs. He covers all the bases. His English was perfect but I have to remember how to spell him name. But that's on me. 5 stars

I recently took a Pickleball lesson with Ki Bom and I was absolutely blown away. My wife and I have been playing Pickleball leisurely for a year now. My wife never thought she would able to learn how to do a proper serve, but in just one lesson, Ki Bom helped her to start doing a volley serve as she always relied on bouncing the ball first. He explained the fundamentals so clearly and made it easy to understand. His ability to observe, make corrections, and guide me through adjustments was truly impressive. We left the lesson feeling excited and eager to apply everything we learned. We are looking forward to our next lessons! He is very good at what he does. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to improve their game!

KiBom is a great instructor: knowledgable , thorough, clear & FRIENDLY!! On my first lesson today, he fine-tuned my serve; he helped me w/dinking, (which I'm horrible at!) ; and tried to help me overcome my fear of the hands battle. (Well, that's a "me" issue & that's going to take a loong time,🤣🤣) But he gave great tips!! I've been playing on-and-off for a year, but I always felt that I could be better. My friend and I signed up for three lessons with KiBom. We are at an intermediate level so he quickly went over the basics and jumped right in to dinking and serving strategic tips. I have never played before so I was not sure if I’d like pickleball at all. After this lesson, I’m a huge fan! Ki Bom was incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging throughout the process.
