“Brian's lesson was amazing and I really enjoyed the 1 h lesson with my son. Brian has rich knowledge and improved our skills of pickleball. While he taught us, he was watching our body movements and paddle face and he corrected the right places. That helps us to improve and he knows the pickleball game strategy, next time we offer him to have a lesson to improve our game.”Hiriko, parent · shared by Brian

About BrianBrian brings a rare combination of rapid progression, high-level competitive experience, and analytical depth to his coaching. In just eight months, he climbed from a 2.7 to a 4.599 DUPR competing regularly with 4.5+ level players. That kind of trajectory isn’t accidental. It reflects deliberate practice, smart drilling, and a deep understanding of patterns, probabilities, and pressure moments. Brian doesn’t just teach shots—he teaches advantage. He thinks in terms of exchange ratios, positioning leverage, and when a speed-up truly earns you a 51–49 edge instead of opening you up to a counter. His fast hands and aggressive instincts are backed by thoughtful decision-making, helping players build controlled offense rather than reckless pace. What separates Brian is how clearly he sees the game. He understands rating systems, regional play styles, and how skill translates across levels. He’s studied what actually moves DUPR, what causes plateaus, and how to break through them—because he’s lived it. Whether you’re a 3.0 trying to stabilize your third shot, a 4.0 stuck at a ceiling, or a tournament player refining hands battles, Brian coaches with structure, intentionality, and measurable progress in mind. If you want to level up intelligently—not just hit harder, but win smarter—he’ll help you build a game that holds up under pressure. ^ yes, written by ai. real people don’t use that many em dashes. Reviews for coaches at West Valley College (Tennis Court)

The lesson with Michael was quite focused on working on the smash, which was helpful. Although I need to fine-tune the mechanics of overhead slams, the emphasis on footwork and proper body position really helped me understand what to work on. I feel like there's room for more technical work, but I’m optimistic about what I can improve with time. We also worked on forehand dinking. Michael really helped me with my footwork, which immediately made me stop popping up dinks. If you’re looking to get a solid grasp of smashing and dinking, Michael is definitely the person to work with.

Honestly, I was pretty impressed with how Michael broke down some of the key pickleball techniques during the lesson. He’s got a way of explaining things that makes it easier to pick up, like his focus on stance and shot placement really stood out. Though I still have a lot to work on, I feel more confident about my next game. Still, I think a bit more emphasis on footwork could make the lessons even better. But yeah, I’ll probably try another lesson soon and see how much I can improve.

The drills we did this lesson really covered a lot, like working on my third shot drops and drives, resets, dinks and smashes, and proper footwork, which was pretty helpful. Though I need to fine-tune my game and figure out when to be aggressive with the opportunities I am creating, I left with some good insights and a better overall feel. Michael’s approach is very steady, pointing out issues he sees that I can correct right away and see immediate impact. Great fun session

The lesson with Michael was quite thorough, he gave a clear overview of how to hit different shots correctly, which I appreciated. Still, I think practicing dinking and shots from the kitchen line could really help me improve further. Though the experience felt really balanced, I definitely look forward to applying what I learned and hopefully building on it with more practice. Still, if you’re into sharpening your pickleball skills, Michael’s a solid choice to try out.

Michael's lesson was quite helpful, especially in highlighting the importance of positioning and shot consistency. Though I still have room to improve, I appreciated how he broke down some key techniques to focus on later. Still, I think a few more lessons could really help cement what I learned and boost my confidence on the court. Hey, if you’re looking for a balanced approach to get better at pickleball, it might be worth trying out a lesson with him.

The lesson was quite helpful, especially in understanding some of the finer points of pickleball technique. Michael's approach was straightforward and practical, which I appreciated. Still, there's always room for deepening my skills, so I hope to build on what I learned in future lessons. Maybe next time we could focus more on footwork drills. If you're looking for someone who guides you with clear insights, I think Michael's worth trying.
