I started playing pickleball 3 years ago and I play almost every day in advanced level open play and ladder sessions. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to go from not knowing how to play to being a solid pickup player who can play in advanced level games. I still know exactly what it’s like to be a brand new beginner and trying to figure out the game especially all the rules. My coaching style is easygoing and I try to keep the lessons light hearted so everyone feels welcome and comfortable. I like to use a mix of drills and gameplay with real time instruction and feedback during my lessons. A group of 3 or 4 students makes for a great class because I can play a doubles game with you while teaching you how the game works. I can also advise you on equipment, where to play, what apps to download to find games and leagues, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
"Michael is a fantastic coach! He’s also an excellent communicator and I really appreciated his professionalism. He’s incredibly kind and treated my 11 year old son like gold. If you are looking for a thoughtful, kind and fun pickelball coach look no further, you found him! I’m excited for our 2nd lesson with Michael. We are hoping and praying to become a mother and son pickelball duo bringing everyone smiles and laughter! God Bless You, All!

With a skill level of 4.5, I can help bridge your understanding and develop your skills, regardless of your current proficiency.
"Mike has been great! Not only has he taken time to teach this newbie all of the basics, but also, as part of my lessons, he has arranged numerous pick up games with me as his partner. I feel this has helped my game and confidence tremendously.
Hey my name is Ethan. I am 24 years old and have an obsession with pickleball. I have been playing pickleball for three years and have been playing competitively for 2. I have won an Open moneyball, MLP 5.0 doubles, PPA Nationals, tourneys in Mexico and other local San Diego tournaments. I have a strong passion for the game and love to spread knowledge about pickleball. I will teach you basic and advanced skills to level up your game quick. My coaching style is interactive and concise. If you want to improve on your pickleball skills and IQ I’ll be excited to help you reach your potential.
"Really great fun dude! He gives concise advice that is easy to understand. He helped me with my backhand at the net and how to speedup at my opponents. I’ll definitely recommend Ethan as a coach for anyone!
My passion is helping players build the right foundation from day one. I teach proper mechanics, footwork, and technique so you improve naturally instead of spending years fixing bad habits. I’ve invested over $20,000 learning from top SoCal coach Austin Sveom and earned 17 tournament medals. Lessons are $20/hr (donated to charity)—you reserve the court at Barnes Tennis Center. I teach one evening lesson per day so every student receives my full attention.
"I’ve taken lessons before, but this was different. Instead of just hitting balls, Kishan explained why each adjustment mattered. My resets, footwork, and consistency improved almost immediately.
