Antoine has been a fantastic coach and I have learned a lot!! I’m around a 3.0 player. We did a lot of dinking drills, worked on back hand, soft touch, and footwork…letting me know when I did good and what I needed to focus on. Worked on strategy…ball placement and how to do a 3rd shot drop. He noticed I was gripping my paddle too tight and showed me a better way to hold it. He told me to relax and not be too anxious to hit ball. This made a huge difference in focusing and making contact with ball. He’s a very patient coach!!
Antoine's lesson was really well-structured and, honestly, quite enjoyable. His patience and knowledge stood out, especially when reinforcing areas like my serve and volley which I struggle with. I still need to work on my kitchen play and movement, but his approach makes me feel optimistic about improving those parts. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about progress, Antoine's definitely worth trying out.
I have struggled with developing a forehand serve. Almost exactly one before my lesson, I had major shoulder surgery. Before the surgery I was unable to serve forehand. In just one short lesson, Antoine taught me how to swing properly and I have started to develop an effective forehand serve. Thanks Antoine. And thanks for the pointers about follow through. Excellent advice.
