About Robin

Hi there! After years of playing tennis, baseball, and golf, I switched to pickleball and I’ve been hooked ever since. Today, I play at a high level and absolutely love helping others fall in love with the game and level up their skills. I’m a highly technical, detail-oriented coach. I love breaking down the mechanics of a shot so you understand exactly how to execute it perfectly. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an intermediate looking to smooth out your game, or an advanced player refining your edge, we’ll work on exactly what you need. From mastering the soft game to hitting powerful topspin drives and rolls, dialing in court positioning, and learning winning strategies, I’ve got you covered. Plus, I build a personalized plan for every student so we can track your progress and keep you moving forward. We can also videotape our sessions so you watch the session later. Let's get out on the court and take your game to the next level!

Robin is an excellent coach and incredibly beginner friendly! I only started playing pickleball 1–2 months ago, and I’m honestly amazed by how much I’ve already learned from him. In such a short amount of time, he has taught me everything from foundational shots to topspin and, most importantly, how to become more consistent. What really sets Robin apart is how knowledgeable and skilled he is as a player. Because he is so consistent and technically strong, he can immediately identify what’s going wrong with a shot, explain why it’s happening, and show me exactly what I need to change to improve it. His feedback is always clear and practical—it immediately makes sense, and I can actually feel the difference in my shots after making the adjustments he suggests. In just one lesson, he was able to teach me almost every foundational shot I needed to know, while still taking the time to make sure I understood the technique behind each one. He is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping his students improve. I’ve improved so much in such a short period of time, and I feel much more confident on the court because of his coaching. Robin is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and effective and I recommend him to anyone looking to learn pickleball or take their game to the next level!

I had a great experience working with Robin as my pickleball instructor. Robin is incredibly flexible with scheduling and always willing to adjust lessons based on what I need to work on. What I appreciate most is how thorough Robin is. Every technique is explained clearly, including the “why” behind each adjustment, which really helps everything click. Robin is also very understanding, patient, and encouraging, making each lesson feel comfortable and productive. Each session feels personalized and focused on helping me improve as a player. I would definitely recommend Robin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating pickleball instructor.

Robin is great! He’s super methodical, patient, and makes drilling fun. He taught me to soften up my grip on dinks, which helped me stop popping up the ball. He also showed me how to add topspin on my drives and volleys so I can hit with pace while keeping the ball in bounds. The biggest game-changer was his "red, yellow, green light" system. It helped me with my decision making on when to attack a ball versus when to reset it. If you want to play smarter pickleball and have a blast doing it, 10/10 recommend booking a lesson with Robin!

My experience with Robin was very positive! We started off with a good warm up where he had a chance to assess all my shots. We then talked about which shots I could improve on. My fast shots are already pretty good but he helped add more topspin to my shots. We focused a lot on my soft game. He taught me how to hit a very aggressive 2 handed backhand dink - that was so much fun! He kept it simple which made it easier for me to learn. Highly recommend Robin if you want to get better or to simply just learn the game. Thanks again!

Robin helped my mixed doubles partner and I prepare for our first DUPR tournament. After one session, we feel way more prepared than we ever did just drilling on our own. We worked on specific shots (eg flicks, speed ups, dinks) and he even gave us great tips on mixed doubles strategy as well. Robin approach to giving feedback is so friendly and constructive, we were learning brand new techniques that we would both be confident applying in a real game. So glad I booked 10 sessions with him! Looking forward to more.

I cannot say enough great things about my first lesson with Robin. It was clear how knowledgeable and patient he is. He has a wonderfully keen eye for breaking down each part to connect the dots to correct and improve your technique. The improvements during, throughout and after this lesson was amazing. I was able to play and feel more confident. He really pays attention to the little details and gives great feedback. I cannot wait for my next lesson. I highly recommend Robin
