“Antoine was so patient and easy to work with. He taught me, my wife, and my two kids how to play the game in less than an hour. When he left, we had a blast playing together, working on our swings. We will definitely be working with Antoine again!”Christian S., parent

Reviews for coaches at Booker T. Anderson Jr. Park

Antoine has been a fantastic coach and I have learned a lot!! I’m around a 3.0 player. We did a lot of dinking drills, worked on back hand, soft touch, and footwork…letting me know when I did good and what I needed to focus on. Worked on strategy…ball placement and how to do a 3rd shot drop. He noticed I was gripping my paddle too tight and showed me a better way to hold it. He told me to relax and not be too anxious to hit ball. This made a huge difference in focusing and making contact with ball. He’s a very patient coach!!

Antoine's lesson was really well-structured and, honestly, quite enjoyable. His patience and knowledge stood out, especially when reinforcing areas like my serve and volley which I struggle with. I still need to work on my kitchen play and movement, but his approach makes me feel optimistic about improving those parts. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about progress, Antoine's definitely worth trying out.

I have struggled with developing a forehand serve. Almost exactly one before my lesson, I had major shoulder surgery. Before the surgery I was unable to serve forehand. In just one short lesson, Antoine taught me how to swing properly and I have started to develop an effective forehand serve. Thanks Antoine. And thanks for the pointers about follow through. Excellent advice.

Getting to work on my goals re my serve during Antoine's lesson was helpful, especially with the great tips he provided. Oh, and he stayed focused on what I wanted to improve as I am one to stray, which I appreciated. I’m optimistic I can build on this next time. Anyway, if you're looking to sharpen certain skills, Antoine's the one to try out.

Had the first lesson with coach Antoine, he is great! Started off with talking about our goals, and then assessing our skills, then working on each of our weaknesses and things to improve. He also gave us lots of pointers and strategies that are very helpful. Overall I am very happy that I gave this a try and it was time well spent!

Antoine was a great coach. I had told him what I wanted to work on and he covered everything. He was very patient and gave good instructions and tips. He really watched what I was doing and corrected me in a nonjudgmental and encouraging way. I would recommend him as a pickleball coach!
