My name is Juan, your future golf coach. With a decade in golf instruction and experience as a former PGA Apprentice, I'm dedicated to making golf both accessible and enjoyable. Our first lesson will lay a solid foundation, covering everything from grip and ball position to the essentials of swinging, standing, and positioning. I have been playing golf all my life, beginning with the First Tee program, which taught me that golf is more than a sport—it's a way to carry yourself, conduct business, and much more. The program instilled values such as courtesy, respect, integrity, sportsmanship, honesty, and confidence, which I live by and which have helped me throughout my golfing journey. I have competed at many levels, including SCPGA, AJGA, mini tours like the Pepsi Tour, and college golf, experiencing the game in various settings. Golf has taken me all over, and I love helping others discover and enjoy the sport.

With over 20 years immersed in the game, I bring a lifetime of competitive and professional golf experience to my coaching. I played Division 1 college golf at the highest level, competed professionally, and have caddied on the PGA Tour—giving me firsthand insight into what it takes to perform at every level of the game. My coaching blends deep technical knowledge with real-world, tour-level strategy, helping players of all skill levels unlock their full potential.

Driven by a lifelong love of golf, I bring 40 years of experience to the course, including my time as a D1 athlete. Shane’s experience includes GOLFTEC, Quintero Golf Club, Club Champion, and Woodland Hills Country Club. Shane has been a coach, master fitter, and golf fitness instructor following his career as a United States Army Infantryman and Education at Kent State University and Arizona State University.
