“James's lesson was quite good. He’s very friendly and takes his time talking and teaching my son, which I appreciated. Though, I’d like to see continued focus on making his swing more natural because that’s still a work in progress. Still, I feel hopeful that with more practice, the swing will become smoother. If you’re after a calm, supportive environment, I’d suggest giving James a try, you might find his way of teaching quite helpful.”Michael S., parent

Reviews for coaches at Aurora Hills Golf Course

I think this lesson was pretty helpful overall, especially since I made a lot of progress on figuring out what I’ve been doing wrong. James's input really clarified some key points, which I hadn’t fully understood before. Though I still need to practice more, I feel more confident about improving my swing and avoiding those mistakes again. It’s encouraging to see tangible results from just this one lesson, and I’ll definitely try to build on what we discussed. If you’re looking for someone who helps you pinpoint specific issues and guides you without rushing, it’s worth trying James out.

Really like working with Sean. I was having an off day on the range so we pivoted to do green work. His teaching style is nice. Sometimes he give you instructions and describes every detail, other times he just lets you chip for 30 minutes and work on timing with minimal feedback. Even when I feel like a ball wasn’t lined up right or hit too hard he reminds me that it’s just about the next shot or put. “Get it within 10 feet and it’s a good chip.”

I loved that James didn’t try to change my entire swing from scratch, which made the lesson feel more natural and effective. The session was well-paced and focused on improving my current skills. If you want a lesson that’s both encouraging and practical, I definitely recommend trying James’s coaching. It’s a great way to enjoy golf and get better at the same time. ⛳️🙂
