Launch House Golf - IrvineGolf Venue in Irvine, CA

Hi, I’m Coach Kevin! ⛳ Golf has been a major part of my life for over 20 years. I started playing at the age of five and went on to compete at national, international, and professional mini-tour levels, achieving a personal-best round of 63. Throughout my playing career, I’ve experienced the challenges, frustrations, and breakthroughs that come with improving at golf. Those experiences have shaped my approach to coaching and helped me understand what golfers really need to make lasting progress. With over 2,000 lessons taught, I’ve worked with golfers of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players looking to take their game further. My coaching philosophy is simple: Every golfer is different, and every swing deserves a personalized approach. I combine my competitive playing experience with modern swing analysis and video technology to help students understand their swings, identify the root causes of their struggles, and build more consistent, repeatable movements. I believe great coaching should be simple, clear, and enjoyable. Rather than overwhelming you with technical information, I focus on making each lesson easy to understand, with practical drills and a clear plan for improvement. Whether you’re picking up a golf club for the first time, trying to break 100, or working toward lower scores, my goal is to help you improve with confidence and enjoy the process. I offer lessons in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Burmese, and welcome golfers of all ages and abilities. Let’s build a better swing and make golf more enjoyable together! ⛳

"Kevin is an excellent coach. He showed up early, he was very well prepared, and he is very encouraging. I am a complete beginner but he helped me with the grip, with helping me understand the swing, and he also took real-time videos and was able to give very easy-to-follow feedback and critique. There are a lot of changes that I obviously need to make for my swing as a beginner but Kevin also understood the need to make the most important changes in a stepwise fashion so I didn't feel overwhelmed, I'm definitely going to book several more lessons
