I’ve been passionate about golf since 2003, when I first picked up an inexpensive Walmart golf set and took my first lessons. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion that changed my life. I currently play at a 9.7 handicap, with my lowest competitive round being 4-under par at Owasso Athletic Club. Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of beginners learn everything from basic club knowledge to confidently playing on the golf course with experienced golfers. My coaching style is high-energy, technical, hands-on, and fun. I use humor and simple teaching methods to help students feel comfortable while building real skills and confidence. I specialize in helping players break major scoring barriers — from breaking 100, to 90, and eventually into the 80s and lower if they want to put in the time to get to par or lower. I teach much more than just a golf swing. I focus on ball position, swing path, grip, tempo, setup fundamentals, accuracy, and distance control. I’m also highly experienced in course management, golf etiquette, club setup, tee height, golf ball fitting, and custom grip fitting for performance. One of my specialties is shot-making and feel around the greens. I teach the 3 core golf shots along with multiple variations players can use in real on-course situations. I’m also known for my one-handed wedge shot training, with the ability to hit my 54° and 56° wedges one-handed from 30–80 yards to help students better understand feel, tempo, and club control. Most students begin training with me in the simulator environment to build solid fundamentals and confidence before transitioning onto the golf course. We also use simulator practice sessions to improve strategy, decision-making, and course management skills that directly lower scores. My goal is simple: help golfers enjoy the game, improve faster, and build a repeatable swing they can trust on the course.
