About Daryl

Hello everyone! Welcome to SLOW (Skillfully Learning Offensive Weaponry) Development. With over 30 years of basketball experience and knowledge, my goal with each athlete is to maximize their potential by focusing on fundamentals to create efficient, effective, basketball players. Progression is the movement and 1% better everyday is the mantra. Let's hit the court and get to it!

What students say...

"The lesson with Daryl focused quite a bit on shooting drills, which really helped me refine my technique. Though reviewing what I’m working on can sometimes feel repetitive, I still appreciated the emphasis on solid fundamentals. Still, I think going over progress more frequently might make the lessons even more effective. But yeah, I’d say try Daryl if you want structured training that pays attention to detail.

Honestly, I think the lesson with Daryl was quite effective. His focus on footwork really stood out as a key skill in my game. Though I still need to work on my shooting, the coaching gave me some clear ideas on how to improve, and I’m hopeful that future lessons will build on this. Still, I feel like with a bit more emphasis on shooting drills, I could get closer to where I want to be. I’d be interested in trying another lesson with Daryl to see how much I can improve.

One of the best parts of the lesson with Daryl was playing "Around the world." It made practicing shots really fun and kept me engaged the whole time. If you're looking to sharpen your basketball skills, his lessons are definitely worth trying out. Great pace and enjoyable drills make it a solid experience. Give it a shot! 🏀

Oh, I guess I had a pretty good lesson with Daryl recently. The highlight was definitely around the world, which was quite fun to try. Still, I think adding more shooting drills could really help me improve my overall game. But I left feeling like I learned a lot already, and I’ll probably try another lesson soon.

The lesson with Daryl was quite helpful, especially focusing on footwork. I think if I work more on my shooting skills, I’ll see even better results. Still, I feel like I made good progress overall and should definitely consider trying another lesson to build on what I learned.
