"Getting a really encouraging lesson with Sarah was quite helpful, especially as I feel I've continued growing my skills and confidence overall. Though I’d appreciate some more specific drills tailored to my game, I think I’m heading in the right direction. Still, I might need to keep practicing to refine my shot and handle better. I’d probably suggest working on that next time, but I’m glad I tried her lesson.

With 38 years of basketball instruction under my belt, I foster player growth and the love of hoops! My foundation in basketball development began on the court, not in an office. I launched Get There Training, a basketball academy in Albuquerque, NM, where I personally trained youth, collegiate, and professional athletes, helping them reach their peak performance. I was privileged to serve on the staff for the LeBron James Skills Academy for three consecutive years, collaborating with high-performance trainers like Ganon Baker, and contributing to one of the most prestigious player development platforms in the country. Was also a basketball coach at NM State University for 3 years.

I have been playing basketball ever since I can remember. My family has always been very athletic. My siblings played basketball as well as my parents. My grandma told me a story about how I used to shoot a little basketball into a 10 foot hoop and I would make it. I play in the point guard position. I work very hard at what I do so that makes me advance in my skill for the sport. When I really started to realize I had a passion for it was in 6th grade. We had a lot of new people therefore our team didn't blend great. But even with my team being the way it was I still put everything that I had into it. Two things at the end of the season happened to me that made me realized that if I worked at it I could do great things. One parent on the With 18 years of basketball instruction, I cultivate both skills and passion for the game. My approach balances expert training with a fun, supportive environment, helping players of all levels thrive. I’m dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.

Basketball is what I dedicated myself to as a kid. Through the years I have had many trainers and professionals guide me to a level that I am proud of today. I spent 4 years at University of Indianapolis playing for the Grey Hounds. I was the 15th player in their history to score 1000 points and grab 500 rebounds, I also hold the all time and single season record for blocks. After being at a basketball exposure tour for 2 days in Portugal, I was immediately flown to Oldenburg Germany to begin my brief but educational professional basketball career. Over the years I’ve learned what is most valued at each level and how to show other coaches you have what they need. My love for sport is what drives me most, and I strive to instill that love in the players I train.

Meet a true basketball enthusiast! With experience playing in the prestigious North Central Conference (NCC), which earned a remarkable 12-page feature in Sports Illustrated. From November 1983 to February 2016, this dedicated individual recorded, watched, edited, and preserved every hoops game televised, spanning all levels of play. Their passion for the game started early, using videotapes to analyze and break down games since their sophomore year in high school back in 1982. Basketball knowledge and love at its finest!

I was born in Brazil and picked up a ball for the first time when I was over six feet tall and already 15 years old- it’s never too late! I grew all the way through my second year of college at Cedarville university in shoe size and height, I ended up 6’8 by 21 years old. Since then, I have experienced great heights and low lows navigating this adventure called life. As a former club player in Porto Alegre, Brazil with Sogipa, a college player at Cedarville University in the US, an assistant coach in Clark Summit, PA at Baptist Bible College, a club coach in Santa Cruz, Brazil at Unico, and recreational coach for various children’s sports in the US, I bring you realistic, honest, practical experience and life lessons. I have achievements such as State and National Championship titles and short falls that taught me to work harder and train more effectively. Somethings I value: hard-work, integrity, faith, loyalty, mentorship, friendship, and family. Mastering basketball is a journey, and I'm passionate about guiding you every step of the way. With 30 years of experience as a player and coach, I provide personalized training designed to elevate your skills and basketball IQ. But, even more than just helping you achieve your full potential on the court, as an ordained pastor with years of church planting experience in the US and in Brazil, I care about you as a person that has purpose and vitality off the court as well. Growing up in Brazil, basketball presented me with an opportunity for a needed change and to develop my passion not only for basketball, but to live my life to the fullest. I look forward to working with you on your mental game and developing you as a resilient player regardless of your current level.
