With over three decades of experience as a military trainer, soccer coach, graduate marketing professor, and now an IPTPA coach/trainer, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our coaching sessions. While I'm a 4.0-rated player, that is not what makes me a good coach. Playing the game at a high level and coaching others require different skills. Coaching goes beyond following proven techniques and passing exams. It is about connecting with my students and tailoring lessons to their unique needs and skill levels. I understand that each player has their makeup and learning style, and I am skilled at adapting my coaching methods to ensure maximum progress and fulfillment. As your pickleball coach, I am focused on enhancing your skills and serving as a motivator and a dedicated instructor for your safety. While pickleball is an exciting game, it has seen increased injuries due to players not fully understanding its nuances. I will guide you in playing safely and provide the necessary knowledge to prevent injuries, allowing you to enjoy the game fully without compromising your well-being.
