Bio: I’m Shane Alvey, a scratch golfer, husband, father, and former Head Golf Professional with 8+ years of teaching experience and over 5,000 hours of lessons. I’ve shot rounds as low as 66, including a career-best 29 on nine holes, and I bring that same passion and precision to helping golfers of all levels improve and enjoy the game.

Bio: I taught for six years at Barton Creek Resort, offering a mix of individual lessons and clinics for players of all levels. I still enjoy playing today and maintain a 3 handicap. My experience includes competing in two Canadian Tour events, and I graduated from New Mexico State University with a focus on the professional golf management program. My teaching style emphasizes simplicity, typically focusing on no more than two swing concepts per lesson, and I take great pride in promoting the game and witnessing my students’ gradual improvements.
