Bio: My name is Jagmeet Kaur, and I’m currently a Graduate Assistant Coach for the men’s and women’s teams at the University of New Orleans. A little about me: I’m a 2025 Mid American Conference (MAC) champion, MAC MVP, and Player of the Year, and I’ve competed in both ITF juniors and professional events. Coaching-wise, I’ve been working closely with collegiate athletes at UNO, helping with technical development, point-structure training, fitness/footwork sessions, and match preparation. My coaching style is very player-focused. I like to keep sessions high-energy, structured, and purposeful. With juniors I focus heavily on fundamentals, body control, and pattern development, while with adults I aim for a balance of technique, strategy, and fun, depending on their goals. I usually format lessons with a quick warm-up, progression-based drills, situation-based points, and clear takeaways at the end.
