Margarita is a certified tennis instructor with over 20 years of coaching experience and a remarkable 30 years as a competitive player. A 5.0-level player, she has trained at renowned institutions such as the Rafael Nadal Academy and the Arantxa Sánchez Academy in Spain. Margarita has coached top-level Southern California juniors, high school teams, and aspiring athletes, specializing in tournament preparation and college scholarship training. With a Master's degree from St. Andrews University in Scotland and expertise in nutrition, exercise physiology, anatomy, and strength training, she offers a holistic approach to player development. Fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Catalan, Margarita creates an inclusive and engaging coaching environment tailored to players of all ages and levels. Hello! My name is Steven and I’m a former Division I tennis player. A little bit about me: I began my college tennis career at Eastern Washington University, a Division I school in the Big Sky Conference. I played #1 singles and competed against top programs such as the University of Washington, University of Utah, Gonzaga University, and the University of Oregon. After my sophomore year, I transferred to Indiana University Indianapolis, where I played primarily #2 singles and #2 doubles. During my time there, I earned multiple conference honors, including being named Horizon League Player of the Week twice and Doubles Team of the Week once. I also served as team captain during my senior year. I've been around the sport of tennis my entire life, and having the opportunity to coach is truly a privilege. Whether you're just starting out or have been playing for years, I'm ready to help take your game to the next level!
