Play Tennis at Hollywood Park

Bio: Over 40 years of playing experience and over 20 years teaching experience! I have played tennis since I was 6 years old and I first learned how to play tennis from my parents at an early age. I then began taking lessons from tennis instructors who had many years of playing experience. They brought a wealth of knowledge to me as a junior, which in turn helped me learn and excel as a junior player. I was one of the top 10 junior players in Texas and also competed in all national tennis tournaments around the country. It was an incredible experience and I very much hope to be able to pass on some of what I’ve learned to some of my tennis students in the San Antonio area!

Bio: As a dedicated tennis coach and former competitive player, this coach brings a wealth of experience and passion to every lesson. Starting tennis at age 10 in India, he quickly rose to the top 50 nationally in the under-16 and under-18 categories. His journey continued in Indiana, where he played NAIA college tennis, competing internationally and advancing to the No. 1 doubles line and No. 4 singles by his freshman year’s end. His coaching career began at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in Texas, where he led over 175 lessons each season. He’s since coached at St. Albans Swim and Tennis Club in Philadelphia, SOL Sports Academy in India, and now Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas. Known for his engaging and energetic approach, he strives to inspire a love for the game and make each player’s journey in tennis both fun and fulfilling.
