For over 15 years, I've cultivated a love for baseball at all levels. As a current player and student who has been developed by elite coaching. Nothing excites me more than being able to share knowledge of the game I love! I aim to foster skill, strategy, and a lifelong appreciation for the game.

Jordan played baseball at the University of Dallas, where he started for three seasons in centerfield and earned multiple accolades, including 3x All Conference, NCAA West All Region, NCAA All American, and 4x Academic All Conference honors. After graduating in 2019, he founded Styx Baseball Academy and began training youth players in the DFW area. In 2022, Jordan joined the University of Dallas coaching staff, where he currently leads both the offense and defense. During the 2024 season, he took over as the offensive coach, guiding UD to its best record in over a decade. Jordan also ranks 2nd in NCAA steals for 2019 and reached base safely in 57 consecutive games.

My name is Kevin Brand. I’m a former professional baseball player with time in the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies organizations. I also worked as a Major League Scout for the New York Mets. I was raised in a baseball household with my father having played 9 years in the Major Leagues and scouting 20 years for the New York Yankees. I currently conduct individual and group lessons while coaching a 17U travel team for the Dallas Tigers. I’ve worked with many current and former college and professional players with an emphasis on simplifying player’s mindsets and approach to hitting and fielding.

I specialize in honing fundamental skills and strategic thinking. My approach combines expert knowledge with an engaging coaching style. As a former college national champion and a current minor league player for the Minnesota Twins i can provide helpful insight to develop you into the best version of yourself. See you soon!
