Bio: I proudly played Division 3 tennis for four impactful years at Hobart and William Smith, where I consistently competed at the number one position. Achieving a career-best UTR of 10.7, I also earned a top 25 ranking in the competitive Northeast region. Transitioning into coaching, I've been privileged to share my expertise at esteemed clubs like Hastings Tennis Club and Riverside Tennis Clay Association, fostering a love for the sport while continuing to grow as both a player and mentor.
Bio: As a player, I was ranked number 1 for most of my junior career in my home country. I defeated the world-ranked number six in the 35 age group and reached number 125. Recently, I had the opportunity to practice with Daria Kasatkina, world number 14, as a hitter at the US Open.
With over 20 years of coaching experience, I am one of the few USTA Coach Developers running the USTA Coaching Fundamentals Workshops for coaches. I served as a USPTA Tester and was awarded USPTA Tester of the Year in the Eastern Section. Additionally, I have been recognized as the Coach of the Year and High School Coach of the Year in the PNW by the USPTA.
I am a USPTA Elite Coach, a USTA High-Performance Coaching Program graduate, a USPTA Specialist in Competitive Junior Players Development, and a USPTA Tennis Fitness Specialist. I have also served as an NCAA D1 and D3 Collegiate Coach at Portland State University and Pratt Institute. My coaching career includes experience as a Grand Slam Coach at the US Open and Australian Open Junior Championships.
Bio: From my early experience in the sport of Tennis I have learned that teaching must be promoted from discipline and the joy of competing.
I started playing since a was very young until l became a player with international projection, managing to be ranked 180 ITF juniors, participate in Olympic and Central American cycles, especially in the world-famous Davis Cup, adding some professional ITF tournaments alongside, where the best athletes in this sport are measured.
Simultaneously, I reached a Major in THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO and played for the team, from there I have been able to experience the teaching of tennis, now I aspire to put all my experience, knowledge and preparation at the service of the community and young people who find in sports and tennis a healthy and productive lifestyle.
I have a very high level of commitment on the court, especially with early stages of learning tennis, I promote discipline as a key tool in learning. I really like to work on the mechanics of the forehand, backhand, key tool in learning.
