Bio: About eight months ago, my coaching journey kicked off as the head coach at Bumpy Pickle in Houston, Texas. Following that, I had the privilege of joining Elite Pickleball Club as their third coach, nestled in the Heights near Downtown Houston. What began as a casual hobby quickly transformed into a serious pursuit over the past year, culminating in my establishment as a professional-level pickleball player. Bio: With a lifelong passion for racquet and paddle sports, I've dedicated six years to playing, competing, and teaching pickleball. My journey in racquet sports began with junior and collegiate tennis, and later, I transitioned to racquetball, achieving remarkable success with 14 national titles in singles and doubles, a world doubles title as part of Team USA, and a world ranking of #3 on the pro tour. Pickleball has been a natural extension of my racquet sports expertise, and in every tournament I've entered, I've emerged victorious or landed in the top three. My love for these games drives me to teach and share my knowledge, making me a dedicated and accomplished pickleball player and instructor. About 2 months after I first started playing pickleball, I entered a tournament and had to register with the USAPA (USA Pickleball Association). On the registration form, they ask you for a nickname, which I entered "Danimal" thinking no one would ever see it. Sure enough, during my first tournament, when being called over the loudspeakers for my matches, the announcer yelled Danimal rather than my first or last name. I was embarrassed and couldn't believe it. However, while walking to the courts, everyone high-fived me and told me they loved the nickname. That weekend, I won a gold medal in Men's Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles completing a Triple Crown in my first tournament. Lo and behold, the nickname has stuck and is now forever

Bio: Former goalkeeper for the Austin Aztex U23 and D2 player in the SLA. I’ve been passionate about racket sports since I was 8 years old. I loved watching and playing tennis, racquetball, table tennis, and badminton. Since discovering pickleball in 2022, I’ve competed in two PPA pro events and still more to come. I enjoy sharing what I understand about the sport with players of all levels. My training and lessons are primarily focused on balancing technique, accuracy, speed, and endurance. The goal is to build knowledge and skills based on your level of play.

Bio: I have proudly called Austin home since 2001. I’m one those Californians who found their outdoor haven in this vibrant city. The “work hard - play hard” philosophy has always resonated with me. When I’m not focused on my professional endeavors, I’m out enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities, from cycling and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) to surfing and snowboarding. I’m also deeply committed to giving back to this community through volunteering and fundraising, as well as embracing live music, exploring new dining options, and embarking on exciting travel adventures. One of my greatest passions is pickleball. On average, I devote 3-6 hours per week to this exhilarating sport. What draws me to pickleball is the perfect blend of social interaction and competitive spirit that it offers.
