Beginner training plan
Your first classIn your first yoga class, you can expect a welcoming introduction to yoga, including how to breathe properly, move safely, and become familiar with basic poses. We will focus on building body awareness, learning simple stretches and postures, and understanding how breath supports movement. The class will be gentle, relaxed, and suitable for complete beginners, ending with a short relaxation to help you feel calm and refreshed.
Class 2-3In your second and third class, we will revisit the foundational poses learned previously and begin to build confidence through standing postures that develop strength, stability, and balance. Students will continue practising mindful breathing while learning how to move more smoothly between poses.
Class 4-10students can expect a gradual progression that introduces new postures, balance challenges, flexibility work, and relaxation techniques. Each session will build on previous lessons while offering modifications to suit different abilities. As confidence grows, students will develop greater strength, mobility, balance, and mindfulness, creating a strong foundation for a lifelong yoga practice.
