Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will connect and chat a little to ensure we have common expectations about the class and the students background in Yoga. We will discuss your needs, intention, create an affirmation (if so inspired) and get grounded: always incorporating breath-work.
Lesson 11+Build a practice incorporating the consistency and joy felt during each class. Master poses and breaths for longer periods of time.
Lesson 4-10Active phase of class. Ideally yoga is a part of your lifestyle off of the mat. Fine tune the classes and your practice. Create and maintain a journal to notice changes. Offer more challenging poses when appropriate.
Lesson 2-3Tune-in. Continue to focus on the intentions and goals if they still resonate with the student. Discuss Yoga beyond the physical
through literature and music while practicing physical asanas. We will incorporate the Chakras into the lessons as well.

Working with kidsI work in local schools on a weekly basis. I also provide fun Yoga activities for special events and birthday parties! Yoga classes for kids involves fun poses, breath work, music and games!
