Former middle hitter for North Little Rock High School and competitive club programs Rock City Juniors and Little Rock Juniors, now developing youth athletes 10-16 through hands-on coaching in youth camps, clinics and private lessons with a focus on strong fundamentals and all-around growth.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first few lessons are all about confidence, fun, and foundation. In the first session we will focus on getting familiar with the ball with light toss-and-catch, self-toss, and hand-contact drills. Once the athlete is familiar with the weight and volume of the ball we will focus on the first three basic skills of the game; passing, setting, and serving. We will implement some partner drills that will improve those skills and add some fun game-like elements to emphasize repetition.

What you need to bringStudents should bring any protective gear they may need such as ankle braces, elbow pads, or KT tape. Athletic tennis shoes that I recommend are ASICS, New Balance, Nike, or Mizuno
