Jade is a patient, knowledgeable, and hard-working coach. My daughter has been working with Jade for about a year, and she absolutely adores her. Jade expects her players to put in 100% of what they have but she is completely understanding when you tell her you’re tired and want to take it easy that day. Jade is a very knowledgeable coach, and she knows what a player needs to work on or what they need to focus on. She asks what a player wants to work on, and she helps that player to the best of her abilities. Even if the player wants to focus on a skill that isn’t needed for their position.

Jade jumped right in and coached Stella last minute before volleyball team try outs. Stella felt she learned more about volleyball from Jade in one hour than in the prior 5 months of school play.
The day after the lesson she had volleyball tryouts and she made the team! Jade is a great coach for beginners of any age.😄
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI break down the basics of passing, setting, hitting and serving. I explain everything in a way that they can understand why they’re doing certain things.
Lesson 11+Start more advanced drills and refine the techniques I’ve taught them.
Lesson 4-10We start to put all of the skills together and understanding the game of volleyball on a higher level.
Lesson 2-3I show them technical aspects of volleyball and begin to add techniques together all while building their confidence.
Youth players
Working with kidsI make the lessons fun and break down the mechanics on a level they understand.
Working with teenagersI ask them what they struggle with the most or what they’re most interested in learning about or improving on and create my lesson from there.
