About your volleyball coach

My connection to volleyball runs deep, shaped by an upbringing in a household where the sport was ever-present. My father, a gold medalist with the USSR volleyball team during its Olympic debut at the 1964 Tokyo Games, profoundly influenced my early understanding of the game. I grew up listening to his discussions about training plans, psychology, and game strategies, and in the 1990s, I observed his leadership as a national team coach. These experiences instilled in me a profound appreciation for the discipline, commitment, and teamwork that volleyball demands. Building on this foundation, I have dedicated my life to sport, gaining invaluable experience across various roles, levels, and countries. As a beach volleyball coach, I bring a well-rounded approach that emphasizes integrity, strategic planning, and fostering an environment where athletes can thrive both on and off the court. My coaching expertise encompasses not only the technical and tactical aspects of the game but also sports-specific strength and conditioning (S&C), a rare specialty in the U.S. volleyball landscape. Additionally, I am passionate about maintaining my own physical fitness and performance, setting a strong example for players and colleagues alike. At 6’7” and with a background that spans continents, cultures, and volleyball philosophies, I bring a unique ability to connect with young athletes

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWell as any professional working with a fellow human being,doctor,teacher ,or the tailor first Session is about diagnosis).Modern days you could easily find drills online ,even training plans ,you could use AI.However the main task of the coach/teacher/tutor is making you healthier than you were before coming.. Not just stronger physically,but mentally as well. Without diagnosing ,you won't be able to from proper training plan
Lesson 11+Shouldn't take longer than a month..it's a mid term cycle and you aren't a beginner anymore) we evaluate together and form a long term plan.
Lesson 4-10Already forming short term training cycles and periodization..Beach Volleyball is looking recreational,but it's on of the most physically demanding sport in terms of energy expenses.If you want to play anywhere decent, requires polishing technical, tactical and physical abilities . However you getting Better when you are fully recovering. Making sure that the work load is adequate for the client..Every human being is unique just gotta adjust the workload accordingly..
Lesson 2-3Well it's obviously all the way round trainings, trying to briefly cover all the aspects of the game and see how a person reacts to the training load.
