Skills assessment:
- I will assess your baseline volleyball skills in each category (serving, passing, receiving, setting, blocking, hitting, digging)
- We will also assess your general strength, agility, explosiveness and spatial awareness.
- Breakdown faulty movement patterns and bad habits.
- Use targeted drills to reinforce proper habits to maximize speed, control and consistency.
- Improve proficiency in the basic fundamental skills need to okay competitively (serving, passing and hitting)
- Discuss and recommended position specializations based on their evaluation performance. We can train any desired position that an athlete has interest in.
- Progressing power and learning fundamental offensive and defensive strategies including position rotations and hitting positions (1’s, 2’s, C-ball, BIC, 4’s, 5’s, also quick attacks.
Week 11+ would be focused on developing advanced skills such as jump serves for power and/or floats to keep your opponent off balance.
Higher level Libero drills would be utilized to progress coordination, reaction speed and confidence needed to cover large areas of the court.

- video analysis: jumping mechanics, receiving, hitting, blocking, digging, setting
- Skill specific training to address flaws in fundamental skills observed in video analysis.
- Building stronger habits with proper form and movement strategies.
Progressive intensity of advanced skills including attack patterns (rolls, cuts, pushes, swipes, tips, dumps) and defensive plays like diving, digging/scooping, single arm passing and free ball recovery.
Transition advanced skills into game like scenarios ideally in small group training sessions. Mastering advanced skills like jump serving and learning to attack from front and back row.
